Oversaw community engagement on social media, through newsletters & webinars; daily conversation with strategic partners from diverse segments of the food system (farmers, gardeners, chefs and plant breeders)

  • 2021-2023: managed all aspects of product procurement, creating an innovative program to support organic farmers interested in becoming seed producers. Handled all production forecasts, contracts, testing, supply and negotiations

World Benchmarking Alliance

  • Worked with a team of engineers to create better digital tools for data collection and analysis.

  • Gathered input from global businesses to inform product usability. Created personas, wire frames and prototypes. Organized stakeholder roundtable sessions and engaged with company leaders for data collection and reporting

  • Conducted research and developed publications that measured company activity against industry standards, with an aim toward alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Seed Savers Exchange

  • Managed a four-year Clif Bar Foundation grant to build out educational resources and community initiatives nationwide

  • Managed all on and off-site all fundraising and educational events and workshops from 2013-2015. Several of these events were participatory and supported varietal data collection for the organization's conservation program

  • Copywriter for the non-profit's membership publication, seed catalog, promotional materials, website and blog

Maine Organic Farmers & Gardeners Association

  • Managed a three-day annual event with fundraising revenue of $750k, and all workshops and events in 2012

  • Product procurement for all conferences and events in 2012, including the creation, sourcing and budgeting for menus

  • Database and website management

Southside Community Land Trust

  • Created videos and web content for educational purposes; video instructor for staff and constituents

  • Conducted city-wide research to study the impact of community gardens on households

  • Copywriting and editing for publications, presentations, agendas, press releases and internal documents, among others
